Fallout 3
Fallout 3 is a post apocalyptic role-playing game developed and published by Bethesda. It's the third installment to Interplay's smash hit PC franchise following Fallout and Fallout 2. It was first released in North America on October 28 followed by Europe and Australia on October 31 and finally in Japan on December 4. It's available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game can be viewed in third or first person and is not isometric or turn-based like the previous games. The player character is customizable and can be male or female.

The game takes place in the ruins of Washington D.C. and the surrounding area, now known as the Capital Wasteland, and puts you against a dark twisted world 200 years after a nuclear war between the United States and China. You are the Lone Wanderer, a citizen of Vault 101 that escaped to go looking for his/her father James.

Major Projects
  • Metro Pages - Adding new metro pages and fleshing out existing ones. All metro pages should be categorized under Category:Fallout 3 Metros. You should tell what the tunnel connects to, use the correct infobox, and list possible loot.
  • Empty Pages - There are empty fallout 3 pages in general. Some character pages, and some location pages. Filling them out would be helpful.
  • Page Layout - The main idea needs to be bolded, proper categories need to be in place, proper items in the infobox, and all categories should be at the top and no spaces should be in between headings.
Start your work by visiting or creating these pages to get an idea of what needs doing. Remember we are looking at creating thousands of in depth pages with tons and tons of information!

The Local Flavor.jpg

The Local Flavor is a quest that the player is given access to after downloading the Point Lookout DLC expansion. The quest is available immediately after the player receives an in-game message informing them of the Duchess Gambit.

After receiving the message about the Duchess Gambit, the player is asked to head to the Riverboat Landing in the south of the DC ruins. As the player approaches the Landing, a woman named Catherine will approach you. She will ask for you to look for her daughter, Nadine. After speaking with her, you will need to speak with the man leaning against a door on the boat. The man, Tobar, will agree to take you Point Lookout if you purchase a ticket from him. After his is done you will have access to Point Lookout.
