The Washington Monument is a Presidential Memorial tower built for George Washington. It stands in the center of The Mall in the Capital Watseland with the Capitol Building to the east and the Lincoln Memorial to the west. The Monument had taken some serious damage during the Great War, it's the only building in the The Mall that is under the Brotherhood of Steel's protection.
There's an elevator in the Monument that leads to the top, you won't find anything of value within the tower, it's only used as a place to keep the Galaxy News Radio satellite so that the station can be broadcast all over the Capital Wasteland.
