The Super Mutant Masters are the strongest out of the 3 normal sized Super Mutants. They have 3 times the health of a regular Super Mutant and can be recognized by their vest-like armor and fighter pilot helmet.
They're very rarely seen out in the open Wasteland, they tend to stay in certain areas such as Vault 87 or Super Mutant Camps. It's also rare to find a Master on their own, they're usually accompanied by a few Super Mutants or Brutes.
Super Mutant Masters are usually equipped with a Chinese Assault Rifle and a Super Sledge, but as you increase in level you'll find more carrying Missile Launchers and Miniguns
