Stanley is the technician of Vault 101. He is a friend of the player's father, James and also the player. He has his own personal Mister Handy robot, named Andy.
He attends the player's 10th birthday, in which the Overseer gives the player a Pip-Boy 3000 which was selected by Stanley. He claims that although some dislike the 3000 series, he suggests it is very reliable. Stanley even goes as far to claim that it can survive having a bomb dropped on it. He gives the player a Pre-War Baseball Cap as a present.
Upon reading the medical records, the player finds out that Stanley has been suffering from stress. He is receiving medication from the player's father, James.
During the events leading to the player's escape from Vault 101, Stanley refuses to kill or turn the player in to the Overseer. Instead he encourages you to find your Father.
