DKS-501 Sniper Rifle

The DKS-501 Sniper Rifle appears in Fallout 2 and Fallout 3. Both the Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 variants are really the same version (DKS-501), but they use different ammo.

It is confirmed that the Fallout 3 variant will appear in Fallout: New Vegas.

The Sniper Rifle is a weapon found in both Fallout and Fallout 2. It does great damage, and has moderate ammo capacity. The Sniper Rifle is an excellent weapon to use at long range.

The Sniper Rifle is rare weapon to find throughout the Wasteland. It is a great weapon for crippling enemies, causing critical damage on targets.

The Sniper Rifle is a Small Guns weapon in Fallout 3. For higher damage this weapon is best used from long range without V.A.T.S. as manual aiming will improve your chances of hitting your target. Your chances of getting one hit kills will improve if you're crouching as you will get the Sneak bonus.

Some of the quickest and easiest ways of obtaining Sniper Rifle include starting the You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head quest in Underworld, Mister Crowley will give you one to help complete the quest. Another spot is in the hollowed out rock by Megaton it comes with a message about a hit and about 20 shots. You can also get one from Allistair Tenpenny's body at Tenpenny Tower and from Arkansas at the Minefield.

There are 2 other variations of the Sniper Rifle, they are the Victory Rifle and the Reservist's Rifle.

The Sniper Rifle in Fallout: New Vegas is one of the best sniper weapons in the game. It can be upgraded with a Silencer and Carbon Fiber parts.

With 100 Guns skill the Sniper Rifle has minimum sway.
