The Microwave Emitter is an Energy Weapon in Fallout 3's fourth DLC pack Point Lookout. It's a unique variation of the Mesmetron, but this one does damage instead of just stunning your opponent. It appears to do more damage to robots than living characters and a critical hit will turn your enemy into a pile of red ash.
The Microwave Emitter can be found after completing the last Point Lookout quest called A Meeting of the Minds.
