Thought Control

Hearing Voices is a quest that the player is given access to after downloading the Point Lookout DLC expansion. The quest is available immediately after completing the Walking with Spirits quest.

[edit] Returning To Desmond

After the player speaks with Nadine and gains the key to Jackson's sacred praying grounds beneath the Wrecked Seatub, return to Desmond. He will scold the player for not interrogating the Tribal leader. He will then send you to do so. The player will then need to head to the Seatub and enter the caverns.

To find Jackson, the player is required to venture through the caverns. Following the torches will lead the player directly to Jackson. Along the way the player will encounter a number of Mirelurks. The player can also find two submerged safes. The first of these safes is located in the first room to the left of the boat. The second safe is located in a long pool to the left walkway as the player ventures deeper into the caverns.

In the final room, the player can find Jackson kneeling before a holographic images of a brain. Allow Jackson and the brain to finish conversing, then speak with the brain. The brain doesn't reveal its identity right away, but doesn't explain that it is using the local Tribals to destroy a signal jamming device that Desmond had installed in Point Lookout to restrict the brains broadcasting signal. The brain also claims to be disappointed that the Tribals believe that he is instructing them to attack Calvert Mansion. It is revealed that the brain is in fact, Professor Calvert.

After the conversation with Professor Calvert ends, the player must return to Calvert Mansion to report back to Desmond. This ends the quest and begins the Thought Control quest.
