Gob is a resident of Megaton in Fallout 3. He is a Ghoul that lived in Underworld, but one day decided to leave so that he could see the world. He was soon captured by Slavers and bought by Colin Moriarty. He works as a bartender in Moriarty's Saloon. Colin beleives he did Gob a favour when he bought him and refuses to let him go until he's payed Colin back, he's been working for Colin for 15 years.
A woman in Underworld called Carol calls herself Gob's "mother", although she can't be his real mother because Ghouls can't reproduce. If you blow up Megaton during The Power of the Atom quest and then tell Carol you killed Gob, she and everyone else in her bar will turn hostile. If Colin Moriarty is killed without everyone turning hostile, Gob will take over as the owner of Moriarty's Saloon and will change the sign outside to Gob's Saloon.
