General Jingwei is a Chinese Soldier that the player encounters during the Operation: Anchorage DLC. He is the commander of all of the Chinese forces within Alaska. The player will have to fight Jingwei after you infiltrate the Chinese Compound. General Jingwei is the strongest NPC that the player will encounter throughout the game.

When you first encounter the General, the American Power Armor Units, along with Sergeant Montgomery will engage the Chinese Soldiers in battle. General Jingwei will execute an American prisoner with his sword, Jingwei's Shock Sword. If the player passes a Speech check, he will take his own life after being convinced that the Chinese forces within Alaska have been defeated. Rather than risk his own capture, he will commit suicide. He will drive his own blade through his chest.

If the player fails the Speech check, you will have to fight Jingwei in open combat. He will attack you with Jingwei's Shock Sword, which does considerable damage. If the players level is high enough, Jingwei will be as durable as a Super Mutant Behemoth. The best way to approach the fight is to shoot the Shock Sword out of his hands. You should also keep your distance and use V.A.T.S. whenever possible. After he has been killed, General Chase will enter the Chinese Compound and congratulate you on completing the Simulation.

When you exit the VS Simulation, you can find his Shock Sword within the VSS Armory.
