Early Dawn Elementary is a former school in Fallout 3. It's located in the Chevy Chase district, just north of Galaxy News Radio. In 2077 a group of children from Early Dawn Elementary were on a school trip to the Lamplight Caverns, The bombs fell on Washington D.C while the kids were in the cave. After all the teachers had died or disappeared, the kids made the Lamplight Caverns their permanent home and renamed it Little Lamplight.

The school has now become a battleground between the Super Mutants and the Brotherhood of Steel. During the Following in His Footsteps quest, the Lone Wanderer will have to travel through Early Dawn with Lyon's Pride in order to reach the GNR Plaza.
