Barter

The Barter skill affects the prices you pay when buying and selling items from Merchants. The higher your Barter skill the more money you'll get when selling items and the less money you'll spend when buying. This skill can be useful at the start of the game to help start you off with a bit of money, however later in the game you'll likely be overloaded with Caps
Perks that require the Barter skill
- Master Trader - Level 14, Barter 60
Increasing Barter skill
- Scoundrel - Increases Barters by +5
- Barter Bobblehead - Barter +10
- Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor - Each book increases Energy Weapons by +1 (+2 if you have the Comprehension perk)
